I recently started playing Saint's Row on my Xbox360. It seemed to work fine for a while, until recently. The damn thing won't even load any more! I've tried it on my wife's 360, and it does the same. Upon researching the problem, it seems to be the actual game programming itself.

I originally thought it was the Samsung DVD drive, as the game starts to spin up, then stops as it loads, with a big "eeerrrkkk" sound, as if the disc is slipping on the clamp assembly inside the drive. It is a faulty piece of code, that is instructing the drive to slow down too quick, causing a read error.

More HERE.

I've took the disc back twice, and the replacements still do the same, so let's hope they re-release it!
